Vanco International Unveils Zero-Latency HDMI Extender

On Wednesday, Vanco International introduces its zero-latency HDMI extender. The AV distribution and electronic accessory company present the Evolution by Vanco EVEX4K70. The 4K HDR Extender delivers cost-effective solutions compared to HDBaseT or fiber solutions.

Director of new product development for Vanco Brandon White says the company built this extender with flexibility and value in mind. “This device makes it easy to transmit long-distance, zero-latency HDMI signals for a wide range of use cases,” said White.

The EVEX4K70 offers flexible installation with a slim, compact design. The HDR extender features both a transmitter and receiver. The transmitter is with an HDMI loop-out for local monitoring or uses with other distribution products. The receiver features digital optical audio output, breaking multichannel audio out to an amplifier, soundbar, or other audio distribution product.

The transmitter and receiver share power from a single power supply thanks to the bi-directional Power-over-Ethernet. Since the EVEX4K70 is built on the same patented technology as the other Evolution extenders (the EVEX2006 and the E4K2006), it offers a cost-effective solution.

The EVEX4K70 supports both a wide range of display resolutions and audio formats. The extender automatically adjusts for compatibility and gain, so no need for EDID and EQ adjustment.

Vanco plans to release the HDMI extender later this year. Distributors interested can contact Vanco International directly for pricing.
