Platinum Tools to Feature ezEX RJ45® Starter Kit at InfoComm 2021

Platinum Tools plans to introduce a new starter kit for InfoComm 2021. The leaders of the preparation and installation of cables and wires are excited to announce the ezEX RJ45  Starter Kit (p/n 90188) during the Orlando convention from October 27-29.

Platinum Tools product manager Sean Rothermel says twisted pair cables need more speed and bandwidth to power certain solutions. “To help meet these requirements and the changes in cable they have necessitated, customers are converting to the ezEX line of connectors. Platinum Tools’ new ezEX RJ45® Starter Kit provides an easy way to make the switch and meet these higher performance demands,” Rothermel said.

According to their website, ezEX Starter Kit provides everything you need to start using Platinum’s advanced connector. The patented EXO Crimp Frame with interchangeable EXO-EX Die will terminate the ezEX-RJ45 connectors. The new series of connectors will cover a wide range of conductors and cable jacket diameters, making it easier to select the right connector. Each connecter is rated for 10 Gig and PoE+ and can be used for Cat6A, Cat6, and Cat5e. This means the connector cover a full conductor diameter range of 0.38in. to 0.48in.
