Poly Unveils New Pro-Grade Video Conferencing Devices for Large Conference Rooms

Poly announced the newest addition to their Studio Series Group Video Conferencing Solutions at Zoomtopia 2021. The Poly Studio X70 and Poly Studio E70 allow for larger groups to collaborate and feel seen in a conference room.

The new camera and video bar bring broadcast-quality video to every meeting, allowing participants to be seen and heard clearly. Both products include Poly Director AI which features Acoustic Fence and NoiseBlock AI. These combined features give customers broadcast-quality production in their conference room.

Poly Director AI technology will gently pan or jump cut to whoever is currently speaking. Thanks to its voice detecting capabilities, the camera will recognize if it is one person speaking or multiple, giving everyone in the room the chance to be seen and heard.

Both the X70 and E70 are both Zoom-certified solutions, allowing them to support Zoom Rooms Smart Gallery and bring meeting equality to medium and large rooms. Aside from Zoom, customers can use StarLeaf, GoToRoom, Dialpad, and RingCentral for their video conferencing needs.

Issues with meeting demand due to supply chain shortages have plagued every industry, including the AV industry. When asked about meeting demand with the X70 and E70, Joe Santucci, Senior Product Manager for Group Video, says as of now, Poly has had no delays in shipping their newer products. However, in the next couple of months, it might get difficult to meet the high demand. If that happens, Santucci ensures they will have products that will meet the needs of their customers.
