ClearOne Enhances Flexibility of its Microphone Array Ceiling Tile with Two Extron Camera Control Modules

ClearOne announces the availability of two new camera-control modules for Extron control systems designed to work with certain ClearOne solutions. One of the new modules is used with the Extron IP Link Pro Control Processor Series, the Media Link Plus Controller Series, the HC 400 Series, and the TLS Pro Series. The other new module works with the Extron IP Link Pro Control Processor Series

The new modules simplified the configuration of the BMA 360’s camera control feature and comes with an easy-to-use graphical interface that associates PTZ presets in the camera with BMA 360 Beam Reports. The modules also incorporate a “No Active Beam” detection feature which can return the camera to a home position after a period of voice inactivity.

Previously, ClearOne provided sample code and command documentation to help Extron programmers build their own custom camera control modules. The new modules today represent a product-quality implementation for control of up to two PTZ cameras per Extron module that is ready for immediate deployment by AV integrators.
