Collaboration Week NY 2019 Live

Live stream of gala dinner

The first ever Collaboration Week New York kicks off with four days of events and live streams. The idea from IMCCA was to give end users, consultants, commercial integrators, and manufacturers the opportunity to gather for a federated group of activities throughout the week.

The first event was a live stream during #AVintheAm on Sunday, February 24. Hosted by David Danto, the conversation followed along as Chris Neto lead the online conversation around unified communications. You can watch the entire stream here.

Monday’s lists of events begins at Microsoft’s Times Square facility hosted by Crestron. Michael Przytula, managing director at Accenture, discussed the six big “mega trends” that will impact the workplace in the next year. Among those was the digital workplace and “liquid space”. This idea is that the employees entering today’s workplace wants the flexibility to determine where and how they work. This dramatically will impact commercial integrators and their ability to accurately design huddle and office spaces.

The first day of Collaboration Week New York 2019 will end with a gala dinner and panel discussion. Before the discussion there will be an awards ceremony celebrating both Snorre Kjesbu and Jason McGraw. Both will be awarded with the Emerging Technology Fellow Awards, Lifetime Achievement Award.

Following the awards presentation Jason Moss from Logitech, Jeff Schwartz of Zoom, Aurangzeb Khan from Altia Systems, Ivan Montoya of Vyopta, Michael Affronti from Fuze, Jim Fairweather of Sennheiser, and Mike Brandofino from Yorktel will discuss the state of the unified communication industry. The panel will be moderation by Ann Earon from Telemanagement Resources and the IMCCA.

The event will begin at 5:30 ET on Monday, February 25. The live stream will begin at roughly 6:00 pm ET and you can watch the live stream below. You will also be able to come back here after the fact to watch the live stream after the event is over.
