What’s more surprising is that they were not achieved with traditional chroma keys and green screens but rather a series of LED displays to create virtual sets. This kind of technology has not only a foothold in cinema, but could also be used for creating unique experiences for live events. We sit down with General Manager Steve Alexander and President Jason Tirado of Lightware to discuss this technology, and what it could mean for the live event and AV space in the future.
