Just Add Power is showcasing its latest AV-over-IP solutions at InfoComm 2024 to demonstrate advancements in their MaxColor line, including new transmitters and wall plates that support 4K60 video distribution with no downscaling, seamless switching, and extensive flexibility in installation and integration. These innovations address the evolving needs of AV installations, offering integrators more options for scalable, reliable, and high-quality video distribution across various environments.

Just Add Power, a leader in AV-over-IP distribution, will showcase its latest distributed AV solutions in Booth W845 at InfoComm 2024 in Las Vegas, June 12-14. At the show, the company will debut several additions to the MaxColor line, including the new MaxColor MC-TXWP1 wall plate that supports HDMI 4K60 input and distribution of source devices, perfect for BYOD, UCC, and huddle environments. The new MC-QX MaxColor 4K60 Tiling and Warping Transmitter and the MC-TX3 MaxColor 4K60 Series Transmitter will also be shown for the first time in the U.S. Just Add Power products will also be on display at the ADI booth, C7019.

“Just Add Power prides itself on providing modular AV-over-IP solutions that answer all the distribution needs of today’s AV installations,” said Taft Stricklin, chief sales officer for Just Add Power. “When we introduced MaxColor to our product lineup, it gave integrators the native 4K60 distribution product they had been asking for. At InfoComm 2024, customers will see the continued expansion of our award-winning lineup that gives them new options while packing in all the robust benefits of Just Add Power — scalability, flexibility, reliability, and ease of installation and control.”

The new Just Add Power MaxColor MC-TXWP1 PoE thin, two-gang HDMI wall plate transmitter provides integrators with a convenient HDMI port that natively supports 4K60 input from any source. It distributes 4K UHD video from connected 4K BYOD sources with no downscaling or subsampling. With the MC-TXWP1, 4K60/4:4:4/36-bit video can be distributed over a 1Gb managed network using Cat 5e/Cat 6 cable. It delivers instant, seamless switching; 4K up- and downscaling; and HDR management while supporting all lossless audio formats and HDR10, HLG, and Dolby Vision for the best viewing experience. To match any décor, the unit’s faceplate is available in black, white, or custom colors.

The Just Add Power MC-QX MaxColor 4K60 Tiling and Warping Transmitter combines the company’s MaxColor technology, 4K network video tiler, and Warp Engine technology. It allows 4K60 source devices to be displayed on a single screen instantly along with source rotation capabilities. Users can simultaneously watch up to four 4K60 video sources in multiple formats, including single-screen, video wall, or tiled video. With the MC-QX warping capability, installers can rotate any source image in a Just Add Power matrix — cable boxes, media players, game systems, cameras, and more — in 0.1-degree increments in real time with incredibly low latency. The rotated image can then be sent to an unlimited number of receivers in the network, allowing for the creation of massive artistic video walls using a single MC-QX.

The MC-TX3 MaxColor 4K60 Series Transmitter natively supports 4K60 in and out, allowing end users to play Ultra HD video from any 4K source and device now available, along with compatibility for AES67 audio systems. With MC-TX3, video at 12-bit color and 4:4:4 chroma can be distributed over Cat 5/Cat 6 cable. Like the MaxColor MC-TX2, the new transmitter offers power over USB-C, supporting KVM or, for example, a USB web camera signal over IP. Further, it supports MPEG downstreaming for connected devices, such as a laptop or tablet. Even more, it supports input for LPCM audio up to eight channels, AES67 audio send and receive up to eight channels, and AES67 audio injection into any Just Add Power network. Like many other transmitters in the Just Add Power lineup, it includes HDMI pass-through; control of endpoints via RS-232, IR, and CEC; and Image Pull, which allows users to preview an image from any source or display from any web browser or control system at up to 10 fps.

Just Add Power’s award-winning MaxColor 4K60 technology was introduced in 2021 to facilitate the distribution of 4K video content from any source to any screen, enabling businesses to display vivid and detailed imagery across an entire venue. Whether it’s for broadcasting live events, deploying a multiscreen video wall, or creating a specific ambiance with digital artwork, Just Add Power’s MaxColor Series has the flexibility to deliver virtually lossless 4K high-quality visual experiences that elevate any space. All MaxColor products can distribute 4K60/4:4:4/36-bit-color video over a 1GB managed network using Cat X (Cat 5e minimum) cable, while the MC-TX2 and MC-RX2 provide the option of using fiber, so integrators can use the cable that best fits their projects.

Just Add Power products will also be on display in the Central Hall at the ADI booth, C7019 and the Blackwire Designs booth, C9869.
