SDVoE Alliance to Demonstrate High-Performance Audiovisual Technology for Healthcare Applications at InfoComm 2025

At InfoComm 2025, the SDVoE Alliance will showcase how its zero-latency, no-compression AV technology is transforming healthcare environments. In partnership with Advantech and Broadata Communications, the Alliance will feature live demonstrations of real-time medical AI and networked operating room simulations. These hands-on experiences will highlight the critical need for high-speed, reliable video transmission in healthcare, especially during surgeries where precision and timing are vital.

The demonstrations are part of SDVoE’s Power of 10 initiative, emphasizing how 10Gbps Ethernet infrastructure can support next-gen audiovisual needs in medical settings. The Alliance aims to show IT and AV professionals how SDVoE simplifies deployments, reduces costs, and ensures flawless image quality, making it a future-ready solution for healthcare and beyond.

The SDVoE Alliance, a nonprofit consortium of technology providers collaborating to standardize the adoption of Ethernet to transport AV signals in professional AV environments, will present a series of interactive demonstrations from Advantech and Broadata Communications Inc. to highlight the capabilities of SDVoE technology, specifically in healthcare applications, at InfoComm 2025. As part of SDVoE Alliance’s Power of 10 initiative, the demonstrations from Advantech and Broadata will showcase how SDVoE technology empowers healthcare environments with real-time, high-performance solutions that are easy to deploy, scalable and cost-effective.

Advantech will demonstrate SDVoE technology in a medical AI application, showcasing how AI assistance can provide real-time visual cues during a surgical procedure. Unlike alternative AVoIP solutions, SDVoE introduces no compression and zero latency, which are both critical for AI-assisted surgery, where even slight delays or visual artifacts can impact performance and patient safety. Advantech’s demonstration will highlight SDVoE’s unique advantages for artifact-sensitive medical AI use cases.

Broadata will showcase Medical Imaging in a networked operating room environment. A live display featuring camera feeds and medical monitors will be combined with an interactive operation game where attendees can simulate endoscopic surgery. Broadata’s demonstration will emphasize zero latency, no compression, standard software interface, multiview, Instaswitch and the ultra-low power capabilities of SDVoE technology, all essential for the demanding requirements of the medical industry.

“We are excited to partner with Advantech and Broadata to showcase SDVoE technology and its ability to support healthcare audiovisual systems with solutions that deliver unmatched speed and reliability,” said Stephane Tremblay, president of the SDVoE Alliance. “At InfoComm 2025, attendees will have the opportunity to experience firsthand how SDVoE’s zero latency and no compression capabilities can transform healthcare environments, ensuring critical information is delivered without delay and with flawless image quality.”

As 10 Gbps Ethernet infrastructure becomes more accessible, SDVoE technology is unlocking the full potential of this standard, delivering uncompromised performance with zero-millisecond latency and flawless image quality. SDVoE’s technology provides integrators and end users the ability to tap into the full power of 10G networks, simplifying deployment, reducing costs and opening up new possibilities in professional audiovisual applications.
