AVB (Audio Video Bridging) is the name of a group of technical standards produced by IEEE. It is actually the name of the working group for IEEE. The group has since been renamed TSN for Time Sensitive Networking. Regardless what you call it, AVB is a group of standards for sending audio, video, and control signals over a standard network topology.
