B-Tech Promotes Gary Purton to Director of Product Management

Purton will oversee the life cycle of the company’s product development

B-Tech AV Mounts, global designer, manufacturer and distributor of AV mounting solutions, has announced the appointment of Gary Purton to its senior management team following his promotion to Director of Product Management.

Based at B-Tech’s UK office in Northamptonshire, Gary will oversee the complete lifecycle of B-Tech’s product development; from the initial stages of market research and opportunity, to the final product launches and subsequent developments.

Promoted from his previous role of Product Design Manager, Gary has held multiple positions in B-Tech’s design department since joining in 2004. Now, as Director of Product Management, Gary manages the full international team responsible for the design and engineering of products, testing practices, manufacturing processes and QC procedures, ensuring every B-Tech product meets the demands and requirements of the marketplace.

Matthew Bennett, CEO of the B-Tech International Group, said: “We are delighted to make this announcement and reward Gary for his exceptional work over the past 15 years. Gary has an excellent team working with him, not just in the UK but also in our APAC operations, and it is this team working together that makes B-Tech a success.” He adds: “The evolution of the B-Tech AV Mounts product range, particularly over the past five years, has been immense and B-Tech now regularly gets industry recognition for our products and support services – a tremendous tip of the hat to Gary and his team.”
