At ISE 2026, Matrox Video will showcase new AV-over-IP capabilities that make ProAV systems more flexible, efficient, and easier to manage. Celebrating 50 years of innovation, the company will demonstrate a fully interoperable AV-over-IP ecosystem at booth 5E390, featuring video walls, IP KVM extenders, gateways, encoders, and decoders working together in real time. A key highlight is the latest update to the Matrox Mura DVW video wall platform, which introduces live previews, improved source management, and faster reconfiguration for environments where real-time visibility and control are critical.
The showcase also emphasizes Matrox Video’s commitment to open standards such as SMPTE ST 2110, IPMX, and NMOS, enabling seamless integration across diverse IT and AV workflows. From higher-resolution IP KVM with Avio 2 to flexible encoding and protocol conversion with ConvertIP, Vion, and Maevex, Matrox Video demonstrates how IT teams can scale, adapt, and future-proof AV-over-IP deployments without redesigning their infrastructure.
As Matrox Video marks its 50th year of innovation, the company will use ISE 2026 to showcase the latest advancements across its AV-over-IP ecosystem, highlighting new capabilities designed to improve flexibility, operational efficiency, and real-time control in ProAV environments. At booth 5E390, Matrox Video will demonstrate a range of technologies including video wall appliances, IP KVM extenders, IP video gateways, graphics and capture cards, and encoders and decoders, working together within a live, interoperable ecosystem.
Central to these demonstrations is the latest evolution of Matrox Mura DVW, an IP-based 4K distributed video wall appliance. New Mura DVW 1.02 and 1.03 enhancements on display at ISE introduce capabilities aimed at reducing operational friction and improving situational awareness. These updates include live preview of IP and web sources, EDID management, audio decoding, and OEM customization. Together, these updates allow operators to preview, switch, and reconfigure layouts faster and with greater confidence, supporting dynamic environments where real-time decisions matter. A live 5×3 4K video wall driven by multiple Mura DVW systems will display synchronized content from across the booth, making it immediately clear how diverse sources can be visualized within a single, cohesive canvas.
Open standards remain a foundational element of Matrox Video’s approach, strengthening interoperability and enabling best-of-breed workflows. Across the booth, many Matrox Video devices are built on open standards such as SMPTE ST 2110, IPMX, and NMOS. Among these is Matrox Avio 2, the world’s first open standards-based, IPMX/ST 2110 IP KVM extender. At ISE 2026, Matrox Video will highlight Avio 2’s newly added support for resolutions up to 5K, accommodating applications that require higher resolutions. Avio 2 will be demonstrated alongside Matrox ConvertIP, showing how uncompressed and compressed streams can be switched, monitored, and routed seamlessly depending on workflow requirements. These demonstrations emphasize how operators can balance image quality, latency, and bandwidth without redesigning systems, enabling greater flexibility as needs evolve.
Additional demonstrations highlight Matrox Video IP video gateway devices, including Matrox ConvertIP DSH and Matrox Vion, showing how flexible encoding, decoding, and bridging capabilities help users adapt IP video workflows across a wide range of environments. By supporting open standards, offering comprehensive protocol conversion, and delivering high-performance options, these devices support reliable deployment across on-premises systems, multi-site environments, and cloud-based video workflows.
Completing the ecosystem, Matrox Maevex Series encoders and decoders provide efficient H.264 and H.265 streaming and recording, supplying live sources into the broader AV-over-IP workflow while supporting ultra-low-latency distribution at reduced bandwidth.
