At Integrated Systems Europe 2026, AVNations’s Tim Albright spoke with Yannic Laleeuwe from Barco at the booth about a major milestone for collaboration spaces: the official Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) certification of Barco’s ClickShare conferencing solution.
The certification marks a critical step forward, confirming that Barco’s ClickShare ecosystem meets Microsoft’s strict standards for Teams Rooms environments. More than just a label, the certification validates the full solution, including the ClickShare Hub, Button, control panel, and integrated Sennheiser audio, as a complete, standards-compliant Microsoft Teams Rooms experience.
“This certification is essential,” explained Laleeuwe. “You can only start shipping Microsoft Teams Rooms solutions once certification is granted.” While the solution was previewed previously, Barco waited until certification was finalized before making it commercially available.
That wait is now over. With certification secured, the ClickShare Teams Rooms solution is officially shipping and available through distributors, making it ready for deployment in meeting rooms worldwide. For integrators and end users, this means confidence that the system will deliver a seamless, reliable Teams experience, right out of the box.
