NETGEAR Introduces Offline Provisioning for Engage Software at ISE 2026

From the show floor at Integrated Systems Europe 2026, AVNation’s Tim Albright spoke with John Henkel from NETGEAR about a highly anticipated update to NETGEAR Engage software, a feature customers and integrators have been requesting for years: offline provisioning.

Previously, configuring switches with Engage required physical hardware to be connected before profiles and network settings could be applied. With offline provisioning, integrators can now design and configure complete switch networks anytime, anywhere, without the hardware present. Entire network profiles can be built weeks or even months ahead of an installation, then imported on-site and applied instantly once the switches are connected.

This new workflow dramatically reduces on-site setup time and simplifies large-scale deployments. Integrators can preconfigure networks remotely, share configuration files with field teams, and quickly onboard switches that automatically recognize and apply the correct settings. The update also enhances demos, allowing sales teams and distributors to showcase full virtual networks without carrying physical switches.

The introduction of offline provisioning marks a significant evolution of the Engage platform, reinforcing NETGEAR’s focus on making AV-over-IP network configuration faster, easier, and more scalable for integrators and end users alike.
