Draper has reintroduced the Acrobat AV Lift, a versatile solution for suspending AV equipment, including projection screens, speakers, lights, and LED video walls, from the ceiling. With a lifting capacity of up to 1,000 pounds, the Acrobat can handle a wide range of AV products. Initially phased out a few years ago, the product was brought back due to constant requests from the market, with many professionals citing it as the perfect solution for their AV installations.
The Acrobat features a streamlined design that allows for easy ordering and installation. It can be customized to fit specific jobsite requirements, with options for complete assemblies or select sub-assemblies. Made to order, the Acrobat comes with universal mounting brackets for various installation setups, and only two cable drops are needed for electric projection screens, making it a highly flexible and user-friendly solution for AV professionals.
Sometimes an idea is so good it keeps coming back. That’s just what happened with the Draper Acrobat – a utility lineset used to suspend AV products including projection screens from the ceiling.
The 1,000-pound lifting capacity also allows Acrobat to easily handle many different AV and other products, including projection screens, lights, speakers, and LED Video Walls.
“A couple of years ago we decided to phase out the Acrobat and concentrate on other products,” said Jim Hoodlebrink, Consultant Relations and Pro AV Products.” “But time after time, people kept bringing us situations where we would say to ourselves, ‘The Acrobat would be perfect for this’.”
Acrobat’s streamlined design makes it easy to order and install. It can be ordered as a complete assembly or in select sub-assemblies to address unique jobsite requirements. Each Acrobat is made to order with the drive pipe cut to size. Universal mounting brackets can be mounted parallel or perpendicular to steel beams or using 4” diameter steel pipe. Only two cable drops are required when attaching electric projection screens.
