  • MultiDyne Brings Broadcast and AV Convergence Message to ISE 2025

MultiDyne Brings Broadcast and AV Convergence Message to ISE 2025

MultiDyne Video & Fiber Optic Systems is making its debut at ISE 2025, bringing innovative solutions that bridge the gap between broadcast and AV. The company will showcase its MDoG Series, designed to help businesses move SDI signals onto IP networks using SMPTE ST 2110 and JPEG-XS for low-latency video transport. These openGear modules provide high-quality SDI-to-IP gateways with compression, making 4K and HD video transmission more efficient. MultiDyne is also introducing new NanoBrix converters, including a 12G-to-HDMI solution and a 10GbE fiber extender, expanding its offerings for AV professionals.

With a strong focus on remote production and interoperability, MultiDyne’s solutions offer flexible, ruggedized designs that integrate with various third-party systems. The company emphasizes a modular “building block” approach, ensuring customers can easily scale their AV and broadcast workflows without being locked into fixed I/O configurations. MultiDyne’s presence at ISE highlights its commitment to advancing AV-over-IP, signal transport, and fiber optic solutions for live production and enterprise AV applications.

MultiDyne Video & Fiber Optic Systems will bring its message of broadcast and AV convergence to ISE for the first time this week, anchored through its growing range of IP gateway and audio/video conversion products that bring the two world closer together. MultiDyne exhibits at ISE 2025 (Stand 4N825) beginning tomorrow at Gran Via in Barcelona, Spain.

MultiDyne’s award-winning MDoG Series brings years of transport and conversion experience onto openGear modules that help broadcasters, enterprise businesses and other content producers move SDI signals onto IP networks. The series include SMPTE ST 2110 interface and low-latency JPEG-XS codec options to help customers build stronger bridges between the two worlds. The modules provide a reliable SDI-to-IP network gateway with mezzanine level compression, helping users optimize throughput for 4K and HD video transport.

Sebastian Mucha, EVP of R&D and European Operations, cites “remote production and interoperable multi-vendor environments” as two key business opportunities for ST 2110 and JPEG-XS emerging in Europe. The MDoG Series offers the following:

    • MDoG-6060 ST 2110 Gateways: For uncompressed transport, the ST 2110 gateways come available in multiple I/O configurations for 3G-SDI (3×3, 4×4, 6×2 and 2×6) and 12G-SDI (1×1, 2×0 and 0x2) systems. Depending on the channel count each configuration offers two 10GB or 25GB network interfaces to support redundant transport streams.
    • MDoG-6061 JPEG-XS Codecs: These codecs support high-density signal transport in modern workflows where uncompressed transport isn’t yet a reality. The MDoG-6061 JPEG-XS encoders and devices support TR-08 compliant, low-latency compression or decompression of up to two channels of 12G-SDI over dual 10GB network interfaces.

MultiDyne will also introduce two new models for its second-generation NanoBrix line of throwdown converters, both available with LC or ST connectors:

    • The NB2-12G-HDMI is a 12G to HDMI 2.0 converter with SDI and fiber optic input options. The device accepts a 12G 4K SDI signal and converts it to HDMI for live confidence monitoring. A popular 5.1 audio to 2.0 stereo audio downmixing feature has been carried over from the 3G-SDI/HDMI 1.4 version.
    • The NB2-10G-TRX is a 10GbE RJ-45 fiber extender with a POE++ option. In addition to LC or ST connectors, the NB2-10G-TRX is available in a WDM single-fiber configuration.

Jesse Foster, MultiDyne’s VP of Products, adds that alongside with new solutions that address AV industry challenges from HDMI conversion to SDI/IP convergence, MultiDyne’s value proposition for the AV systems integration community is strong.

“MultiDyne’s ruggedized and interoperable products support a “building block” philosophy to help customers meet any signal transport, processing and conversion requirement for their live productions,” he said. “While some MultiDyne products are purpose-built to solve specific problems, many are configurable to serve changing needs in the field, ensuring customers aren’t locked into specific I/O counts. These same products are also very adaptable to larger ecosystems, ensuring interoperability with cameras and other third-party systems.”

Humly Addresses Self-Service and Accessibility Needs in Workplace Software

Humly, a workplace experience company with more than a decade of innovation for modernizing business environments, has added new features to its software suite that help people navigate the challenges of the modern workplace. Humly’s four software solutions touch nearly every part of the workplace experience, from balancing a rotation of hybrid schedules to guiding visitors and customers through their onsite journeys.

Humly will demonstrate its four workplace software solutions in varied demonstrations with Humly Booking Device and Humly Room Display at ISE 2025 (Stand 2W550) beginning tomorrow at the Gran Via in Barcelona, Spain.

    Enhanced Visitor Experiences

Humly Visitor is often the first Humly software solution in the corporate partner’s or end customer’s journey upon entering the building, offering a warm welcome as visitors walk through the doors and into the main lobby. Visitors can step right up to interface (such as a tablet or kiosk), check in and approve of terms and conditions on any screen they choose.

New for ISE, Humly has added called pre-registration and multi-language support features to Humly Visitor. The pre-registration feature invites visitors to check in and out without re-entering their contact details on arrival or departure. This enhances the visitor experience while making it easier for office personnel to plan and manage daily operations, as well as saving time for everyone.

Humly Visitor’s new multi-language feature supports 29 languages that can be set to default for check-in/check-out processes, sending email and/or SMS notifications to hosts in the same language as visitors arrive. Visitors can select a different language at check-in, ensuring consistent communication and a more user-friendly experience for global visitors.

    Plan and Reserve

Humly Floor Plan specifically addresses the challenge of booking workspaces in hybrid business environments with flexible, dynamic worker schedules. The product provides a comprehensive 3D overview of meeting rooms, desks, and now parking space availability on each floor, in each building, and in every garage, providing a true enterprise-level solution for any business office or campus.

Humly will show two new features for Humly Floor Plan on its ISE stand, including the global debut of its Find a Colleague feature. Also available within Humly Reservations, the new feature allows users to locate colleagues and book an adjacent room or desk to invite closer collaboration both on current and future dates. Users can also search for colleagues and resources such as rooms, desks, or parking spaces to check their availability for a single day and make bookings effortlessly.

Humly will also debut its new Parking Space Booking feature to international audiences. Introduced at InfoComm, Humly Floor Plan’s latest space booking feature provides a complete view of the open-air parking lot or multi-level garage. The software’s clear 3D visualization allows users to quickly identify available spaces for general, visitor, disabled, and electric vehicle parking, among other areas. Parking spaces are shaded red (booked) and green (available) on the Floor Plan layout; users immediately claim an open spot upon clicking the bookable parking space and entering the desired parking duration.

“Our latest software features align with our 2025 goal of bringing more functionality and greater accessibility to the workplace experience,” said Anders Karlsson, CEO, Humly. “Humly Floor Plan offers both general overviews or interactive layouts to present bookable spaces both inside and beyond the office walls, with our interactive functions empowering users to view available and manage bookings. Humly Visitor’s multi-language support enhances accessibility and ensures that businesses everywhere can effectively cater to diverse workplace environments. Humly Visitor’s backend benefits the business itself, with the ability to track visitor flows for security and better workplace optimization.”

  • Harnessing the power: PPDS remote device management ecosystem marks ISE with fresh Philips Wave brand makeover bringing in new features and functions for 2025

Harnessing the power: PPDS remote device management ecosystem marks ISE with fresh Philips Wave brand makeover bringing in new features and functions for 2025

PPDS is making waves at ISE 2025 with a major brand refresh for its remote device management ecosystem, now officially called Philips Wave. This powerful, API-first platform gives AV and IT managers full control over their Philips Professional Displays, enabling remote updates, predictive maintenance, and seamless software management. With its integrated ProStore marketplace, users can easily access apps from top partners like NowSignage, Appspace, and NoviSign, ensuring smooth and sustainable digital signage and display management across industries like retail, corporate, and education.

Beyond the rebrand, Philips Wave now carries the ISO 27001 certification, reinforcing PPDS’ commitment to security. This global certification ensures that sensitive data on Philips Professional Displays is protected against cyber threats, offering IT teams greater peace of mind. With continuous innovation and new features in development, PPDS is positioning Philips Wave as a future-ready solution for secure, scalable, and intelligent display management.

PPDS, the exclusive global provider of Philips Professional Displays, is excited to announce the latest evolution in its strategy to develop and deliver world-class AV software solutions to international partners and customers, as its state-of-the-art remote management ecosystem is officially renamed Philips Wave.

Announced ready for unveiling on Philips Stand 3P500 at ISE 2025 in Barcelona, the strategic brand refresh comes two years since Wave – developed in-house by the PPDS team – debuted at ISE 2022, allowing customers to unlock the full power, versatility, and intelligence of their Android SoC Philips Professional Display fleets while also bringing more sustainable business forward.

Used around the world, the ‘evolutionary’ secure and scalable API-first platform, Wave Controller, provides AV/IT managers with advanced and effortless control and management capabilities for professional displays on a local and international scale, with firmware and software updates, adjusting settings, and predictive maintenance just some of the remote features available. Also part of the Wave ecosystem, the dedicated ProStore provides a ‘one-stop digital marketplace’ for customers to access their preferred applications and services – including those from third party partners such as NowSignage, Appspace, and NoviSign – while eliminating concerns around compatibility.

    The next Wave

Over the past two years, the development team, led by Siddarth Gopal, Global Director of Software Solutions, has continuously updated and enhanced the Wave ecosystem, implemented to meet the changing needs of the market, including retail, corporate, education, and more.

Making ready for its next phases of growth, and in close collaborations with PPDS’ global sales teams and partners, the new name, Philips Wave, brings greater brand recognition and association with the Philips brand, bringing new features and benefits on current and future ‘Wave ready’ displays.

Siddarth commented: “At PPDS, we pride ourselves on innovation and, crucially, listening to the market. When we launched Wave in 2022, we made it clear this was an evolving solution. With updates on an almost continual basis, new partnerships being added, and new features and functionalities to cater for our customers’ needs, the product we have today is vastly superior to the version of Wave we introduced on day one. That momentum continues, and as we grow globally, we are well positioned for the long term.”

Martijn van der Woude, VP Global Marketing and Business Development at PPDS, added: “Philips Wave is much more than just a rebrand. We are aligning the platform with our Philips Professional Displays, providing greater brand association and recognition of the quality and confidence that has been synonymous with the Philips brand since 1891. The foundations have been set, and Philips Wave is ready to surge.”

    And that’s not all…

    New for 2025

In addition to the rebrand of Philips Wave at ISE 2025, PPDS is also delighted to confirm the platform has achieved the globally recognised ISO 27001 certification, demonstrating the company’s commitment to safeguarding sensitive data and information.

With security of paramount importance across Philips Professional Displays and complementary solutions, the ISE 27001 certification recognises that PPDS has implemented a systematic approach to managing sensitive company information and has measures in place to protect against current and future security threats. The certification process requires a rigorous assessment of information security risks and demonstrating the implementation of robust security controls and processes.

Siddarth added: “Security has and will always be the number one priority at PPDS and we will always go the extra mile to ensure our customers’ data is safe and secure on our solutions. That is non-negotiable. The ISO 27001 certification validates this, giving additional peace of mind to our partners and customers for today and into the future.”
