    Integrated Systems Europe is back in the physical space for 2022, and AVNation is on the ground in Barcelona to see everything innovative in the AV space. We are joined by Senior Vice President of Intelligent Systems at Jabra Aurangzeb Khan in their booth in Hall 2 to discuss the innovations to their PanaCast series of collaborative solutions.

    Introduced just this week for ISE 2022 was a major enhancement to Jabra’s PanaCast 50 camera called Dynamic Composition. This software-enabled feature utilizes machine learning to automatically provide close-ups of participants within physical meeting spaces for viewers calling in. This comes from a collaboration effort between Jabra and Microsoft to improve the virtual meeting space for hybrid offices. This is meant to provide a seamless experience for everyone involved, no matter how each person is participating.

    Audinate may be more known for sound but they’re here to to let you know about their entrance into the world of video as AVNation’s Rich Fregosa interviews Audinate’s CMO Josh Rush at ISE 2022.

    They launched their audio/video module to manufacturers in 2019 and in the last couple of years those products have come to the market. With a building ecosystem and a great reception, Audinate is looking to make a strong push into the space.

    With usability being a priority Audinate focuses heavily on the ease of use of their technology to allow for convenient experiences. Once you plug in your device their free Dante controller software makes the process of routing and management easy.

We are joined by Frank Racapé, Vice President EMEA for Philips Professional Displays in the AVNation studio. Although, he will soon be reaching a global height for the commercial side of PPDS, in addition to Europe, the Middle East and Africa. PPDS themselves are expanding by taking their story to the next stage.

    The first step is a new line of ultra-high displays with fine-pixel pitch. These solutions are ensured to be visible in any condition due to their high amount of candela per square meter (cd/m2) and are ideal for public venues and transportation spaces.

    In addition, Philips Professional Displays is looking towards the education vertical for opportunities for their digital signage solutions. They are launching two new ranges of educational displays and bringing the depth and quality of their portfolio into the education space.

    ISE 2022 Celebrates Triumphant Debut in Barcelona

    After much anticipation, ISE finally arrived in grand style at the Fira de Barcelona, Gran Vía (10-13 May). With a total of 43,691 unique attendees from 151 countries, making 90,372 visits to the show floor, exhibitors reported busier than expected booths and many fruitful business connections.  This was the first full ISE show since February 2020, when ISE said farewell to its previous home in Amsterdam and initial signs looked good for a busy week as queues began to form at the opening turnstiles. With 834 exhibitors in 48,000 square meters of show floor across six Technology Zones, ISE 2022 set a new benchmark with an easy-to-navigate venue and a host of opportunities to explore new solutions and drive new business.The highlights of the event included seven ISE Conferences with more than 1,000 attendees, two keynote addresses, Refik Anadol and Alan Greenberg, presented to a packed audience, and two stunning projection mapping projects within the city of Barcelona.Mike Blackman, Managing Director of ISE, explains that ISE 2022 is an event to be proud of, saying: “We are so pleased to have provided a successful platform for our exhibitors and partners to showcase their innovation and technology solutions. As we all recover from the impact of the pandemic, it is wonderful to be here in Barcelona with what feels like a ‘normal’ ISE in its new home,” he continued. “We look forward to building on this success to return on 31 January next year for another, energizing, exciting, and inspiring ISE, here at the Gran Vía.”ISE returns to Barcelona on 31 Jan-3 Feb 2023.

    With Aetria, systems integrators are able to deploy, manage and monitor host of solutions through in a controlled environment. With the system managing the integration part of the process, users can manage their workstations and sources from a single interface with ease. Datapath designed their own video codecs with light compression to allow for very simple streaming of 4K video. Users can utilize the web interface to remotely control their solutions and sources for instant access.

One of the core products Nureva highlights is the HDL300, the powerful microphone and speaker bar. The new bar can pick up who is talking in a space and provide full coverage sound for the entire space.

    The HDL300 will come with a software package for remote management, allowing users to see if the devices are available, online, and being used.
