Building Control and Automation

Buildings are comprised of many different systems each having their own set of controls. Some examples are HVAC, lighting, shades, security, life safety, public signage, and space reservation systems. Each of these systems operates independently with their own set of sensors and control interfaces; however, their effectiveness and efficiency are limited by not interacting with each other.
