Paul Richards of PTZOptics and StreamGeeks wrote a book called Helping Your Church Live Stream about the effective ways for houses of worship to broadcast their services. One might think that this was nothing new in the age of virtual events and online meetings, but this was written back in 2019 well before the pandemic made everything remote. Today we sit down (virtually, of course) with Paul to discuss how streaming has become a valuable skill for houses of worship today. We talk about best practices for streaming, different aspects and factors that come into livestreams, the challenges of a virtual audience and more.
