Don’t Be a Dangus

We’re almost out of 2020! This is the final week that we are looking at the commercial side of the AV industry and taking the biggest news stories that are surrounding it. We are joined by host of our own AVSocial Dawn Meade and Advisist himself as well as frequent collaborator for AVNation and itch you can’t scratch Bradford Benn.

Even though we are almost out of 2020, the disruption that is still affecting many workers from home is ongoing. We look at some ways to manage stress for your workers around this time where things are simultaneously heating up and slowing down.

Nike’s flagship store, the House of Innovation in Paris, showcases some innovative tranparent LCD screens across its space. Transparent LCDs are still fairly a fledgling technology, usually only reserved for science fiction and insanely expensive solutions like this. Where can we use this in truly unique ways? Is there a potential place for these solutions in other areas? How long will it take to be feasible for other markets?

And just for a second, we discuss friend of the channel Joe Way, who unfortunately lost his house in a fire this week. Thankfully everyone made it out okay, but it is still a tragic thing, especially for someone in our AV community. a Gofundme page has been set up for his family.
