Combination Attacks For AV Solutions
Somehow, we’re already about to be out of February. Hopefully that means we can move onto warmer weather. But whether the weather, we endeavor to deliver (alright that’s enough rhyming) the latest news and stories from the commercial side of the AV industry. PPDS has launched their Philips Tableaux signage displays. These advanced color ePaper solutions are touted as being ‘zero power’, expanding their line of energy efficient signage displays. If you want a comprehensive look at this, we did stop at PPDS’ booth during Integrated Systems Europe 2023 to talk about the Tableaux. While we do discuss the use cases for this ePaper solution, we also look at sustainability and “green av” within the commercial space.
According to a report from Futursource Consulting, video conferencing platforms are expected to slow in growth. Due to some world-changing event, conferencing solutions became ubiquitous at the start of the decade, and things like Zoom became a household name. We look at the adoption of video conferencing in this year and where it could be going moving forward.
FOR-A and Aveco has entered a strategic partnership for broadcast production automation. FOR-A is a provider of switchers, servers and graphics while Aveco specializes in automation and media asset management. Putting these two together in a broadcast environment is a no-brainer.
