Zoom has disbanded 150 members of their staff, including members of their Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) team. Companies all over the tech industry from AV to video gaming have seen massive layoffs in the last few months. Are we really heading into some kind of “economic uncertainty”, or was this just an expected outcome after the boom of jobs amidst the pandemic?
