Wal-Mart has announced the acquisition of VIZIO for $2.3 billion. Vizio has been a staple for economic TV displays since 2002. We covered the effects of this deal on the residential side in ResiWeek, and now we look at the impact that could come on the commercial side. It isn’t just the displays themselves since they are more residential focused, the but idea of a huge conglomerate like Walmart having a stake in the display market. Sennheiser has put their TCC 2 microphone with Q-SYS’ Core Nano processor to make a solution capable of delivering audio and control features for learning spaces. This solution hopes to improve room design and make deployment simple while still giving a solid collaboration experience.
