As mentioned, it is more than entertainment and mass notification meeting; The best user experience happens when the walled gardens of disparate systems disappear. When you eliminate the overlap of multiple systems that provide audio reinforcement of different kinds and take advantage of open standards for communicating to and from other systems, you begin to create a platform that makes sense to the user. Audio is a basic element of notification, but it has not been available to many smaller systems, except in a very localized way. This inter-connectedness let’s the owner extend the reach of current systems while simultaneously removing duplication and simplifying management and support.
