EdTech 101: The Ideal Classroom

Learning The Environment

We are thankful that you could join us for an episode of EDTech, the show that looks at the latest news surrounding the higher education and AV space. We are joined by Assistant Director of Multimedia Services for Drexel University Rob Rasberry, Director of AV Services for the University of Arkansas Ernie Bailey and Director of Client Services for Bates College Scott Tiner.

According to a new study, user spending on public cloud services are projected to grow more than 20% by next year. We saw a lot of movement to cloud based solutions in the midst of the pandemic, and now most businsesses and campuses are shifting to a hybrid environment. Will we see a continuing transition to the cloud in higher edcuation?

The Consortium of College and University Media Centers is rebranding themselves as the Educational Technology Collaborative. ETC is less of a mouthful than CCUMC, but what does this change mean more than just a name?

Scott writes in rAVe Pubs about the ideal classroom, or rather what we’ve learned through distance learning and other remote solutions and what will stay. What can AV do to ensure that teachers and students have exactly what they need to get things done, no matter where they are?
