SAVI Controls announces the addition of Eric Smith to their Board of Directors as a technical advisor. For those of you playing at home, Eric Smith was one of the co-founders of Control4 back in 2003. His work in that time redefined the smart home space. So what does this mean for SAVI controls moving forward? Looking at the control system space and how SAVI is trying to get some ground in that market.
In addition to Amazon’s recent announcements regarding Ring, they have also announced their competitor to Google’s Stadia, Amazon Luna. Subscription-based services for games is somewhat new but not entirely an untapped market. The real question becomes is a client’s system capable of streaming games at a rate that is even playable, much less able to handle everything else going on in the home? Looking at the qualifications required and how integrators can assist customers looking at this next step in gaming technology.
