Nortek Security & Control has been acquired by the Italian company Nice. This isn’t entirely unprecedented for Nice, considering their expansion into the home security market with Abode solutions and gate opening, but does mean the company is making a stake in the North America region. We disucss what knowledge we can glean from this acquisition, what it means for Nortek to get picked up by Nice and what this ultimately means for the industry.
