For ten years, SCN has looked through the AV industry to find and induct the most influential people into their Hall of Fame. We’ve taken the time to sit down with each of them to discuss their journey through the industry and what AV means to them.
Charmaine Tourrella found her way into integration and the AV industry providing telecommunication services in the early 2000s. Her background in the IT space has been prevalent throughout her entire journey from a videoconferencing specialist for AVI-SPL to her current position as the Global Services Manager for Verrex. We discuss how IT and AV have come together in her time with AV, the work being done by AVIXA’s Diversity Council, and a look at what’s ahead for the AV industry.
