Integrated Systems Europe returns to Barcelona. We are here covering all the latest innovations in the AV industry. Humly’s CEO Anders Karlsson joins us in the AVNation Studio to discuss their workspace solutions.

Humly focuses on clean workplace solutions meant to simplify the use of spaces like meeting rooms. Their new flexible Booking Device is a premium hardware solution capable of booking even desks in addition to rooms and collaboration spaces. This solution is scalable and uses their one Humly Cloud to manage multiple systems at once.

“We wanted to create a very flexible and easy to use system that you could use to book any kind of resource,” Karlsson explains. The sleek design is not just for show, but also to allow frictionless support for offices looking to implement these solutions and focus on getting work done rather than messing with the solution.

Creating A Truly Open Standard for AV Over IP With Macnica At ISE 2023

A Future For AV Over IP Standards

Integrated Systems Europe 2023 is back in Barcelona, and AVNation has its own studio to cover the latest innovations within the AV industry. We sit down with Macnica’s Director of Product Management Andrew Starks to discuss IPMX.

IPMX, or the Internet Protocol Media Experience, is a new standard for AV over IP solutions. This is a free and open standard, looking to allow integrators to transmit high quality video, audio and control signals over standard IP networks.

It is based off of an existing protocol used by the Society of Motion Picture and Television Engineers, but specifically adjusted for the needs of the Pro AV market. This allows for dynamic, professional video over IP including 4K60 and 4:4:4 color through 1gb/s of bandwidth.

More information about Macnica and the IPMX standard can be found on their website. More of AVNation’s coverage of Integrated Systems Europe 2023 can be found on their website.

    Beams Of Pure Sound

We are back in Barcelona for Integrated Systems Europe, looking at all the innovations within the AV industry. We join Renkus-Heinz Product Manager Brandon Heinz in our AVNation Studio to discuss the audio solutions they are presenting.

Though now having decades of experience in the audio world, the ICONYX series has reached the fifth generation of products. ICONYX Gen 5 is the latest in beam steering technology, creating highly directional soundscapes for integrators to tune audio to an extreme degree. Gen5 offers connectivity with Audinate’s Dante systems as well as faster control and higher outputs.

Renkus-Heinz debuted the UBX Series at the last ISE and have continued to expand on this line. These columns deliver the same beam steering sound as the ICONYX line in a much small footprint.

  • HDANYWHERE Brings Back Universal Remotes To ISE 2023

HDANYWHERE Brings Back Universal Remotes To ISE 2023

    A Remote For All Seasons

Integrated Systems Europe returns to Barcelona, and AVNation covers not only what’s on the show floor but who comes through our own studio space. We sit down with HDANYWHERE’s Founder Chris Pinder to discuss their uControl universal remote.

uControl is originally a smartphone platform, made for the home space to control smart home devices at an affordable, mid-market price point. Now they are introducing this remote, which can handle media, lighting shading and more within the home space.

Last year, Logitech shut down their Harmony universal remote line. But if anything, Pinder sees that as an opportunity. “No one expected Harmony to disappear in the way that it has, but hopefully we can fill some of that void with the remote. There’s a lot of people wanting smart home control at a more affordable price point.” HDANYWHERE looks to streamline the process for customers through their uControl platform.

More information about HDANYWHERE and their new remote can be found on their website. More coverage of Integrated Systems Europe 2023 by AVNation can be found here.

  • ISE 2023 Hall Technologies

    ISE 2023 Hall Technologies

Integrated Systems Europe returns to Barcelona for a look at the latest innovations within the AV industry. AVNation joins Hall Technologies in their booth with Ken Eagle, Vice President of Technology to discuss their unified communications solutions.

The latest product is the new Work From Home Kit, a combination of their HT-WebCam-4K-AI and the HT-Satellite Dock. The webcam includes an ultrawide angle lens capable of recording resolutions up to 4K. It works in conjunction with the Satellite Dock, an omnidirectional microphone with options for noise reduction and echo cancellation.

The main impetus for these devices to be paired together was a lack of equity with remote workers during the pandemic. Eagle explains, “When you’re spending more than twenty minutes of your day in a learning or communication environment, it needs to be quality.” The kit was made in such a way that employees could easily use it with their home setups.

They also showcased their Voyager dongle, a USB-C transmitter capable of sharing content from screen sources wirelessly. It works through simple plug-and-play and has no requirements of installs or drivers.

More information about Hall Technologies and their line of unified communication solutions can be found on their website. All of AVNation’s coverage of Integrated Systems Europe 2023 can be found right here.

  • Using The Whole Sony Ecosystem At ISE 2023

Using The Whole Sony Ecosystem At ISE 2023

Integrated Systems Europe 2023 returns to Barcelona, which means that AVNation is also here to cover the latest innovations within the AV industry. We join Sony’s Vice President of Professional Display Solutions Rich Ventura in their booth to discuss their virtual production solutions.

“The great thing about Sony is that we own this ecosystem,” says Ventura. “It’s not just the displays. We have the cameras, we have all of our workflows with our media production equipment. We can deliver the whole thing with our customers and partners and build out an amazing scenario.” Sony has worn many hats in the technical space, from cameras to music players to game consoles and much more. The potential for virtual sets and productions is just an amalgamation of these sectors running together.

Virtual production is a relatively recent trend, used for major media and now is finding its way to the corporate space. Through the use of displays instead of traditional green screens, spaces are brought to life for the actor or subject to witness in front of them.

The screen backing these virtual productions is the Crystal LED BH series. These super-sized LED video walls produce premium images that can work even in brightly lit spaces.

More information about Sony’s Professional Solutions can be found on their website. All of AVNation’s coverage of Integrated Systems Europe 2023 can be found here.
