Making screens stylish, beautiful with Da-Lite at ISE 2023

    Leveraging 21:9 Microsoft Front Row

Da-Lite shows off their Sightline series at ISE 2023. When installed in a space, Sightline makes the projector screen look as if it is floating in mid-air. This is because, unlike traditional screens, the drop is fed by cables and not black drop. The elimination of black drop makes Sightlin a great option for higher education, houses of worship, banquet facilities, or corporate.

Microsoft is really getting into their Front Row for Teams. The development and push toward 21:9 aspect ratio is leading to some innovative projection screens. Da-Lite has a line of 21:9 to accommodate Microsoft Front Row but also a 32:9 to incorporate Teams dual screen display options as well.

One Ring to Adapt HDMI et al

One Ring to convert them all. C2G showed off their line of adapter rings. The adapters are color-coded so your professors or office staff just need to know, “I need the Blue on”. Not, what a Display Port v 2 is. There are ring versions, retractable versions, and anti-microbial versions as well.

C2G also went beyond adapting and into transmitting video signals at ISE 2023. The Legrand | AV company has a line of video extenders for USB C, HDMI, Dual 4K, HDBaseT, and more.

LED Video Walls Made Easy With VOD Visual at ISE 2023

We are back in Barcelona for Integrated Systems Europe 2023. AVNation is looking at the latest innovations within the AV industry. We join VOD Visual’s Technical Sales & Marketing Manager Ross Noonan in their stand to discuss what they are doing with LED Studio.

LED Studio is a UK-based turnkey solution provider for indoor and outdoor LED displays. They provide screens for commercial, corporate and other digital signage applications. “A lot of people find LED quite complicated, and where here to take that burden away.” explains Noonan.

One of their biggest draws at the show is their Edge series. The 43″Edge Pro and 55″ Edge are meant to replace traditional LCD video wall panels. These panels allow for flexibility with wall display installations and provide a seamless experience to display resolutions up to 4K.

More information about VOD Visual and the Edge series can be found on their website. All of AVNation’s coverage of Integrated Systems Europe 2023 can be found here.

Zero-Power Digital Signage With PPDS At ISE 2023

We are back in Barcelona for Integrated Systems Europe 2023, looking at all the latest innovations within the AV industry. We join Head of Global Commercial & Vice President EMEA for PPDS Franck Racapé at the Philips booth to discuss their latest digital signage product with zero power.

PPDS, also known as Philips Professional Display Solutions, is the digital signage branch of Philips. As the name implies, they are responsible for a wide range of displays for digital signage, hospitality and corporate environments. While they have developed several energy-efficient signage solutions, the latest Philips Tableaux is a new benchmark for the company.

Tableaux is a panel capable of running entirely unplugged. This not only helps with sustainability energy efficiency, but also allows for digital signage to be placed in areas where getting power to a solution can be challenging.

More information about PPDS and their digital signage solutions can be found on their website. All of AVNation’s coverage of Integrated Systems Europe 2023 can be found right here.

ADI Global Distribution Lives Up To Their Name at ISE 2023

Integrated Systems Europe 2023 is back in Barcelona, and AVNation is here to cover the latest news and information surrounding the AV industry. We join ADI’s Category Manager David Swindlehurst in their booth to discuss their global outreach.

ADI is a leading distributor of security solutions for the AV space. Although starting originally in the US market, they now have over 200 branches worldwide, offering products and services to clients in both residential and commercial spaces.

“What we’re really doing is following the model we know works for us. It’s worked in the US, it will work in the UK, and then it will work in the rest of Europe and the Middle East,” says Swindlehurst. ADI works with local vendors to ensure that the markets being established are beneficial for both sides.

  • HYPERVSN Brings AV To The “Phygital” Space At ISE 2023

HYPERVSN Brings AV To The “Phygital” Space At ISE 2023

    Bringing Displays To Life

Integrated Systems Europe 2023 returns to Barcelona, that means that AVNation is here covering all the latest innovations happening within the AV industry. We are joined by HYPERVSN UK Sales Director Chris Smith in their luxurious booth talking about their holographic solutions.

HYPERVSN’s main technology are their revolutionary holographic displays. They are literally revolutionary, as in a swath of LEDs lie on a quartet of blades and are spun by a rapid rotor to create an image that floats in mid-air. These solutions are scalable to combine multiple fans and create different sized installations.

Last year, ISE utilized these holographic displays to bring a recording of ISE’s Managing Director Mike Blackman to welcome attendees to the show. While we don’t have our own hologram of Mr. Blackman, we have many life-size and larger displays showcasing the capabilities of the solution. This blending of a digital and physical experience is known as the “phygital” space, and HYPERVSN are showing that there are many different ways to apply these fans for a unqiue AV experience.

More information about HYPERVSN and their holographic displays can be found on their website. All of AVNation’s coverage of Integrated Systems Europe 2023 can be found here.

Deeper meeting tech from Sennheiser at ISE 2023

Giving AV Users better collaboration connections from Sennheiser

Sennheiser has driven deeper into the meeting and collaboration space at ISE 2023. Their award-winning Teams Connect ceiling microphones have been installed into Zoom and Microsoft Teams Rooms. Now Sennheiser has taken their original 28-capsule array and created a medium version with 15 microphone capsules. This allows users to be heard anywhere in the room while also eliminating pen clicks, chip bags, and various other noises.

Another aspect of Sennheiser’s meeting technology is their app. Their meeting app allows participants to listen in with their personal devices. Plus, the app can be used by meeting participants as a microphone that can be fed into the system, fed to remote meeting members, or both.

  • A Raceway For All Cables With FSR At ISE 2023

A Raceway For All Cables With FSR At ISE 2023

“In Stock” Is The Mantra for FSR

Integrated Systems Europe 2023 has returned to Barcelona, and so has AVNation to cover the latest innovations within the AV industry. We join FSR’s Director of Global Sales Chaz Porter in their booth to discuss how they are expanding their products to the international market.

The Smart-Way raceway system has been a staple for FSR for four years, providing a route for cables within a seamless protective case. These raceways have gone from the floor to the wall, and now their latest addition is adaptable to any cable in the world.

If a client wants to standardize on a space and provide a clean, low-profile way to send cables, they are now able to do so without limitation thanks to the new 40mm square openings within the device boxes. In addition to the raceway, the PWB-323 Project Wall Box is getting a similar expansion to accommodate international plugs and cables.

A strength of the company is the reliability and speed to provide their solutions. Porter states, “one of the initiatives that FSR had, coincidentally prior to the pandemic, was to be able to provide products for customers in rapid times. We can provide product and ship it before our competitors can create a quote for it.” All of the products being shown in their stand are in stock and available to ship for customers.

More information about FSR and their products can be found on their website. All of AVNation’s coverage of Integrated Systems Europe 2023 can be found here.

Taking Atlona’s OmniStream To The Next Level At ISE 2023

    OmniStream’s Major Upgrade

AVNation is back in Barcelona, covering everything innovative within the AV industry at Integrated Systems Europe 2023. We are in the bright orange booth of Atlona, talking to the Product Manager of Networked AV Paul Krizan about the OmniStream AV over IP distribution platform.

While OmniStream still has the performance of traditional AV distribution, they also provide a scalable platform for different spaces. This flexibility can extend to meeting rooms, restaraunts, campuses and more. The exciting news this time around is the 2.0 technology update, bringing out a whole host of new capabilities to the encoders and decoders. This software will be provided in all new shipments of the OmniStream solution, and existing systems will be updated through firmware at no extra charge.

2.0 brings about many new key features, including a new 4K/60 4:4:4 codec with artifact-free presentation, multiview window processing, integrated ethernet link testing and much more. “This really takes the unparalled video quality that OmniStream is known for and takes it to a whole other level,” says Krizan.

More information about Atlona and the OmniStream platform can be found on their website. More coverage of Integrated Systems Europe 2023 from AVNation can be found here.
