Troubleshooting and Testing with MSolutions at ISE 2023

Trust but verify your AV over IP

MSolutions was born out of several ate-night discussions and a passion for the AV industry and helping end users. As AV over IP and distributed video became more prevalent, the team at MSolutions saw a need for testing and teaching. As new technologies emerge, MSolutions continues to create testing systems.

Just like with IT networks, AV connections need to be tested as they are deployed. Several systems can negatively interact with AV over IP networks. Testing those systems can pinpoint where the issues are from in order to fix them. Performance and connection testing can help eliminate headaches down the road.

Fully Custom Video Displays With Bluefin At ISE 2023

    A New Chapter for Bluefin

We are in Barcelona, covering Integrated Systems Europe 2023 from January 31st to February 3rd. This is the show for innovation and brand new insights into the AV industry. And something that is very fresh off the presses is the naming of one Frank Pisano as CEO of Bluefin.

That isn’t to say that he is unfamiliar with Bluefin, as evidenced by his work with them while at BrightSign. “Bluefin has been a great partner of BrightSign for a number of years, building their chipsets into Bluefin units.” Pisano explains. With this experience, he was able to work with the existing culture of the company and hopes to bring things to the next level for Bluefin and build out the channel experience.

Thanks to having their own manufacturing facility, Bluefin is in the business of custom displays, capable of building exactly to the specifications of the customer. Pisano finds that this customizability is on of the main strengths of the company, allowing for niche and otherwise unique offerings separate from other display manufacturers.

More information about Bluefin and their displays can be found on their website. More information about AVNation and our coverage of Integrated Systems Europe 2023 can be found here.

    Avocor’s Massive L Series 21:9 Displays At ISE 2023

    L Stands For Large

Integrated Systems Europe has not only returned to Barcelona, but their usual timeslot of January 31st through February 3rd. AVNation is on the scene to cover all the latest innovations happening within the AV space. We talk to Till Gotterbarm, Product Management and Strategic Partnerships for Avocor about their latest display, the L Series. The catch this year? Surprisingly, it’s non-interactive.

The other outstanding is its massive size. Not just in dimensions, but ratio. For this particular display, Avocor has opted for the recently surging 21:9, or ultrawide aspect ratio. But if you’re missing that interactive feature, these 105″ solutions also come with a touch version.

“We have the non-touch series for signature meeting rooms, and we have the same model as a touch version to increase more canvas availability in the meeting room.” These touch screens are in step with their partnership with Logitech and the CollabTouch solution, capable of being modular and scalable for many different conferencing situations.

More information about Avocor and their displays can be found on their website. More information about Integrated Systems Europe 2023 and all of AVNation’s coverage of the show can be found here.

Control4’s OvrC is a Cause For Jubilation for Snap One

Integrated Systems Europe returns to Spain, bringing the latest innovations in AV to Barcelona from January 31st to February 3rd. We talk to Snap One’s Senior Vice President of Marketing & Markets Eric Harper about their foray into the European market through their acquisition of Control4.

“Many folks are familiar with the Control4 brand, and we had a vision to bring our business platforms together,” says Harper. In over three years, Snap has coalesced the two entities under one umbrella.

A cornerstone of this celebration is the OvrC Cloud Management tool for residential and commercial integrators, a support platform allowing professionals to remotely manage, configure and trouble devices on the network. Snap recently launched their WattBox for IP-controllable power connected with OvrC. These systems allow integrators to work remotely on systems without the need for a truck roll.
