A Feud As Old As Feudalism

It seems that the more technology advances, adjacent spaces start to converge. AV and IT are normally considered separate entities, and never the twain shall meet. But as classrooms go virtual and introduce solutions for learning that require a network, lines get crossed. For this month we are joined as always by Director of Client Services for Bates College Scott Tiner, AV Specialist for Stockton University James King and Assistant Director of Multimedia Services for Drexel University Rob Rasberry to discuss Scott’s article, “AV is IT”. Seems pretty cut and dry… Or is it? We break down the different facets of the AV and IT spaces and how they work in higher education and get to the bottom of the debate.
