Adam Coleman joins Almo to work on direct-view LED opportunities
Philadelphia, PA — Due to the growing use of Direct-View LED (dvLED) products for AV installations, Almo Professional A/V, the Pro AV industry’s Favorite Distributor, has hired 20-year industry veteran Adam Coleman as Business Development Manager, specializing in the technical and installation aspects of dvLED displays. Adam will be meeting with resellers and integrators during the Almo Fall 2019 E4 Experiences, coming to the New York Metro Area on September 25 and Atlanta on October 15.
According to Brian Rhatigan, director of business development for Almo Professional A/V, “Without a doubt, dvLED technology continues to proliferate in the AV industry, especially as the products become more accessible, affordable and easier to integrate. Adam’s deep knowledge of dvLED technology — which stems both from his role as a training consultant for Absen and his installation experience of dvLED systems — gives our reseller and integrator partners a true advantage as they now have a trusted resource who understands the nuances of the technology and will benefit from his expertise as dvLED continues to become more mainstream.”
In June, Almo announced it was chosen as the largest national distributor for Absen, Inc. the world’s largest producer and exporter of LED displays. As a result, the complete line of Absen products are available in the U.S. through Almo Professional A/V, including Absen’s Acclaim Pro series (featuring IMD technology) and Acclaim Plus series.
As a Business Development Manager for Almo Pro A/V, Adam is in charge of providing technical and installation consulting for Absen America dvLED products and Canon projector lines. Adam brings 20 years of expertise to Almo, with previous experience as owner of SilverCell, LLC serving as a consultant to the industry. He’s also held technical, service, training and engineering roles at Prysm, Inc., Kaybus, Inc., Barco and Christie Digital.
Adam attended Colorado State University. He’s produced corporate training programs for Prysm, Kaybus and Absen America with an unwavering focus on the learner, while directly supporting high profile deployments in the United States, Europe, the Middle East and Asia.
