Eugene Novaceck, Founder of ENCO, passes away

Novacek founded the AV automation company in 1961

Eugene Novacek, founder of ENCO, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2020 in New York at the age of 61 following a long and valiant battle with pancreatic cancer. He was surrounded by family.

He is survived by his wife, Judith Novacek; his daughter, Kristin Heinbockel; his son Andrew Novacek, and granddaughter, Evany Novacek.

His legacy lives through his family, the company he founded, and the industry he loved and changed.

Tim Albright is the founder of AVNation and is the driving force behind the AVNation network. He carries the InfoComm CTS, a B.S. from Greenville College and is pursuing an M.S. in Mass Communications from Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. When not steering the AVNation ship, Tim has spent his career designing systems for churches both large and small, Fortune 500 companies, and education facilities.
