First annual Presence Summit aims to help video communicators

With highly creative yet achievable video communications strategies, the full-day conference will couple inspiring keynotes and interactive breakout sessions with industry experts and leaders from companies including Zoom

The Presence Summit, a new virtual conference taking place on July 15, 2020, will focus on teaching attendees how to orchestrate and create transformative experiences that engage, influence and connect with their audiences, including customers, vendors, employees, or co-workers. With highly creative yet achievable video communications strategies, the full day conference will couple inspiring keynotes and interactive breakout sessions with industry experts and leaders from companies including Zoom. Attendees can follow the free livestream track or the paid professional development track with presenter led sessions and breakouts, amid the myriad of entertainment and presentations.

With online meetings consuming employees and business owners’ lives over the last several months, the Presence Summit will serve as the first of its kind professional development event for video communicators. With interactive exercises and group Zoom rooms, attendees will learn how to present themselves more effectively on video and how to garner more engagement from their audience while gaining the tools and strategies to be better on-camera communicators, whether as event hosts, moderators or meeting participants.

Attendees will hear directly from live streaming experts, professional podcasters, and executives from Zoom. Joseph Pine, author of “The Experience Economy” will kick of the event with a keynote designed to help attendees transform customer experiences through the professional use of video communications. Fatima Doman, author of “Authentic Resilience,” will speak on driving personal engagement, productivity, resilience, and well-being, through sustainable high-performance actions both at work and in life. Author, Paul Richards, and host of the popular live streaming show, StreamGeeks, will talk podcasting and provide the digital version of his new book “The Online Meeting Survival Guide” free for event attendees.

The topics will cover a range of easy-to-learn and apply skills which include: recognizing subtle, non-verbal communication cues; utilizing personal strengths for greater collaboration; creating powerful presentations; increasing both size and engagement of community members; and much more . Group exercises will help attendees better understand their unique communication styles and learn how they can effectively engage those with opposing styles. Following the Presence Summit, participants should be able to take the skills they learn back to their teams to further collective understanding and better video communication experiences company wide.

The Presence Summit halftime show has renowned filmmaker and the founder of Urbanist, Ariel Viera, guiding a tour through the streets of NYC on a live Zoom excursion. Artist, G. Love (Garrett Dutton), enjoys using Zoom so much, he has agreed to create a special interactive performance for the Presence Summit Finale.

The teams at HuddleCamHD and AV distributor Starin, a Midwich Group company, are co-sponsoring the full-day Presence Summit. The July 15 schedule is available at: presencesummit.com. The live stream is free, but those interested in the professional development track with access to Zoom breakout sessions can purchase tickets here.

A special partner webinar is scheduled for July 8 at 2:00 p.m. ET to help dealers generate leads and prepare them to have higher level UC conversations with their customers. More information on the partner webinar is available here.
