Elo’s Next Generation Android Device Portfolio Delivers Enterprise-Readiness

Android-powered interactive device manufacturers Elo announced the updated I-Series 4 and Backpack 4 products. The update brings the convenience of Android 10, Google Mobile Services, and a suite of enterprise tools enabling flexibility in device management.

“The Elo name has become synonymous with reliable Android devices built for business applications around the world,” said Craig Witsoe, CEO, Elo. “With twice the performance of the previous generation and the addition of an entirely new processor option, our next-gen portfolio provides more choice, greater flexibility, and literally thousands of possible configurations for interactive solutions.”

Elo’s lineup of Android devices helps customers find the right hardware solution for a greater range of uses.

I-Series 4

The all-in-one device boasts a sleek thin design with easier enterprise management capabilities of Android 10, GMS, and OEMConfig. The new I-Series 4 comes in three different screen sizes (10”, 15”, and 22”) all equipped with Elo Edge Connect. The new I-Series devices feature an 8MP camera and USB-C plus optional power-over-ethernet.

Elo Backpack® 4

The Elo Backpack 4 enables customers to transform touchscreens of any size and format into a single-architecture media platform. The Backpack can easily attach to a broad range of 10 to 65-inch interactive display products.

Elo EssentialEdge™️ Simplifies Android for the Enterprise

Developers and IT managers can now leverage a constantly growing set of tools thanks to Elo EssentialEdge for Android. The EssentialEdge boasts numerous new features such as the Google zero-touch enrollment and OEMConfig capabilities.

Both the I-Series and Backpack devices are EloView ready which is available in three versions; “Core” version for automated deployment and OS updates, “Connect” which enables device provisioning and management, and “Control” which provides additional security customer-facing devices.
