BenQ Taps Into the Future of Education at EDspaces 2022

BenQ will demonstrate its easy-to-use and easy-to-manage edtech solutions at EDspaces 2022, Nov. 2-4 in Portland, Oregon. In Booth 843, BenQ will showcase its award-winning education interactive display family, including the BenQ Board Premium RP Series, Mainstream RM Series, and Entry-Level RE Series; BlueCore laser family of education projectors; and InstaShow wireless presentation system (WPS).

“We’re looking forward to showcasing all our latest edtech solutions at the upcoming EDspaces event,” said Bob Wudeck, senior director of business development at BenQ America Corp. “Educators will get an inside look at our BenQ Boards, which are meant to be the collaboration hub of any classroom; brighter color-accurate projectors; and InstaShow WPS’s easy tap-and-teach content sharing feature. All our edtech solutions dramatically evolve the classroom teaching and learning experience.”

Interactive Displays for Every Classroom

BenQ has been developing and perfecting its BenQ Boards for 10 years, leveraging its leadership in cinematic, esports, and healthcare display technology. The company’s BenQ Board interactive displays are a culmination of that work, delivering an easy-to-use, healthy, and feature-rich smart board designed for hybrid and remote classrooms. Like all the interactive displays in BenQ’s education portfolio, the latest 4K UHD displays come with BenQ’s ClassroomCare®, a standard and proprietary line of health-centric technologies that include germ-resistant screens and pens, as well as low-blue-light, flicker-free, and anti-glare technology to reduce eye strain and create a comfortable viewing experience. Displays have up to 40 points of simultaneous touch recognition with no lag, InstaShare to wirelessly present to the screen from anywhere, instant and secure access to network files and leading cloud-based applications, BenQ’s EZ Write 6 license-free annotation and whiteboard software, front-accessible I/Os including USB-C, built-in speakers and microphones, and centralized management and signage features for technology administrators. With BenQ Boards, educators can be as efficient and effective on the displays as they are on their PC, with features such as the ability to run two applications side by side and an optional slot-in PC to expand onboard functions even further.

Smart Projectors With a Focus on Color Accuracy

BenQ will showcase its extensive lineup of projectors, which includes ultra-short-throw, short-throw, and interactive models to suit any classroom need. As research emerges that remote classrooms require multiple screens in the room to enable successful online learning, BenQ is helping schools do so with projectors that are affordable, unceasingly bright, maintenance-free, and easy to install.

Just Tap ‘N Teach

With the InstaShow WDC20E education WPS, teachers simply tap and teach — sharing their screen with the classroom’s smartboards or projectors at the touch of a button. The affordable WDC20E is a smart solution for classroom collaboration. Its network-free, software-free, and app-free design make it easy to use. It supports video streams up to 4K resolution via the latest wireless 802.11ac standards and can split the screen among four devices — whether it’s a Google Chromebook, notebook, phone, tablet, microscope, or any device with an HDMI out port. Moreover, with the ability to connect up to 32 devices or input sources at a time — the highest of any WPS — no student is left out of collaborative learning opportunities. It’s also the first all-hardware, plug-and-play WPS designed to ensure data and content privacy using advanced 128-bit algorithms. Available in models even for the latest USB-C-enabled laptops and notebooks, teachers simply plug the InstaShow button into their device and tap to share content. Classrooms equipped with interactive displays will benefit from the Touch Back feature, which allows users to control and annotate their presentations originating from Windows computers directly from the display. In addition, the split-screen mode can be used to control up to four laptops. Annotations made on the touch screen can also be displayed and saved on the laptop for a seamless content pipeline that students can refer to later.
