Blackwire Designs to Showcase Strength of Comprehensive Solutions at CEDIA Expo 2024

Blackwire Designs, founded in 2009 by former integrators, is a unique distributor in the custom installation industry, utilizing integrated software for sales and systems support, ensuring smooth business operations.

Blackwire Designs is expanding its presence at CEDIA Expo 2024 showcasing innovative tools and technologies aimed at enhancing efficiency for AV integrators and installers. Highlights include the new Network Provisioning Service for streamlined setup, the refreshed Ruckus 101 training, the VideoWall Pro driver for Control4 systems, the award-winning Blacklight Design Tool, and Network Design Assistance and Predictive Wi-Fi Heatmap Service.

Blackwire celebrates 15th anniversary with expanded presence, offering new products, services, and innovative tools to simplify installation processes, optimize workflows, and support integrators in cost-efficient, high-quality installations.

Blackwire Designs, a leading distributor in the custom installation and Pro AV markets, is excited to announce its expanded presence at CEDIA Expo 2024, Sept. 5-7 at the Colorado Convention Center in Denver, with a bigger booth and even more innovative solutions on display. Attendees are invited to visit Booth 3537 to experience firsthand Blackwire’s latest innovative tools and technologies, all of which are designed to enhance efficiency and optimize project workflows for AV integrators and installers.

“At Blackwire, we’re committed to providing not only an extensive inventory of high-quality products but also a suite of services that enhance efficiency and reduce costs,” said Cody Crossland, VP of Sales at Blackwire Designs. “Our innovative tools and technologies are designed to simplify the installation process and make integrators’ jobs easier. We back this with streamlined logistics, award-winning customer service, ongoing support, and strategic partnerships to ensure integrators can rely on us as a trusted resource in the industry. This year, we’re excited to showcase our latest products and newly released software tools and celebrate our 15th anniversary of saving integrators time and money.”

At the show, Blackwire will share more about its new Network Provisioning Service. This service provides integrators with fully configured, labeled, and installation-ready networking equipment straight out of the box. Available for free with the purchase of eligible products, such as Ruckus, NETGEAR, and more, it eliminates the need for time-consuming setup and troubleshooting on-site, ensuring a seamless and cost-efficient installation process. Blackwire’s popular Ruckus 101 training, a go-to resource for Ruckus networking best practices, has been refreshed with improved navigation and enhanced support for the latest Unleashed firmware. Attendees can visit the company’s booth to see these updates in action and sign up for an MPT session to explore the latest features.

In addition, Blackwire Designs will demonstrate the VideoWall Pro driver, a groundbreaking application developed for Control4 systems. The driver offers an intuitive user interface with image preview capabilities and is compatible with all Just Add Power and AVPro AV-over-IP systems. VideoWall Pro allows users to manage all aspects of a 2×2, 3×3, or 2×3 video wall from a single screen, eliminating the need to switch rooms to change or control sources.

Blackwire Designs will also highlight its Blacklight Design Tool, which gained industry recognition when it won the CEDIA Expo 2023 Best New Software Product Award. Blacklight simplifies the traditionally complex process of designing and specifying linear lighting systems. With the software, users can import floor plans, outline fixtures, and generate detailed purchase orders and installation reports quickly. This streamlines the design process, reduces errors, and expedites project completion, offering integrators a powerful tool to capture increasing profit opportunities in lighting and to enhance their workflow. New at this year’s CEDIA Expo, Blackwire is hosting an in-depth MPT session on the Blacklight Design Tool, offering a comprehensive exploration of its features and benefits.

Attendees will also learn about Blackwire’s Network Design Assistance and Predictive Wi-Fi Heatmap Service. This innovative service removes the guesswork from delivering exceptional network coverage in residential and commercial spaces, enabling dealers to achieve enterprise-grade installations with ease. By offering precise and reliable network design, this service helps integrators deliver top-tier results for their clients.

Beyond these headline products and services, Blackwire will feature the latest offerings from industry partners, including Ruckus, IFP Connect, Uniview, American Lighting, and more. These products have been carefully selected to complement Blackwire’s existing solutions, providing integrators with a comprehensive suite of tools to tackle even the most complex AV projects.
