Byron Tarry, a respected leader in the AV world, is launching NΞXXT at InfoComm 2025, a bold, community-driven movement designed to help businesses make sense of AI and apply it meaningfully. NΞXXT isn’t just about promoting AI; it’s about enabling real business transformation. Built in collaboration with over 20 forward-thinking leaders, it’s focused on practical learning, advisory services, and tools that empower individuals to act on AI in ways that matter to their unique roles and businesses.
The initiative responds to growing uncertainty in the industry: many professionals know AI is important but are unsure how to start. NΞXXT offers clear pathways, hands-on support, and a platform for collaborative learning. With upcoming podcasts, online courses, and a digital community launching soon, NΞXXT invites IT and AV professionals to come together, learn, and lead in the AI era.
Byron Tarry, longtime AV industry leader and business model disrupter, has announced the upcoming launch of NΞXXT: an industry driven “social enterprise” aimed at empowering and enabling the unparallelled business transformation opportunities that exist in this emerging AI age.
Developed through months of co-creation with over 20 progressive peer leaders, NΞXXT responds to a growing challenge felt across the industry: how to navigate the vast, often overwhelming possibilities AI is creating in ways that are relevant to “ME”. My Skillset, My Role, My Business!
“We keep hearing the same thing: ‘I know I need to act on AI – but I’m not sure how, or even where to start,’” said Byron Tarry, Founder & Chief Transformation Officer of NΞXXT. “So, we can’t just be another AI “cheerleading” voice – AI is just a tool! Rather we must anchor ourselves as a business transformation enablement organization in an AI age. Do so, and we hope we can become the industry’s “place to go” for help in navigating the complex but exciting journeys & opportunities ahead.
Tarry further elaborates: “Our hope is that NΞXXT won’t just be recognized for the learning it enables or initiatives it sparks, but – whether via the community we aggregate, or the professional services we offer – for how we can help in amplifying the “brand” defining future forward stories we all need to inspire us in pursuing our own leadership potential.”
Brad Hintze, EVP, Global Marketing at Crestron and member of the initial Thinktank that inspired the formation of NΞXXT, remarked: “There’s a huge appetite for “think different” leadership and learning right now, but the pressure to ‘pursue AI opportunity’ is creating more confusion than clarity. I am proud to have been a part of what NΞXXT is building – especially its community activation and enablement goals. Creating a trusted space to learn, lead, and build what’s NΞXXT is exactly what our industry needs to not only survive but thrive in this moment.”
NΞXXT will make its public debut at InfoComm 2025 with an invitation for the industry to engage – to learn more about the NEXXT mission, and to help shape and validate the pathways needed to help take a growing NΞXXT community from curiosity to action.
In the months to follow, NΞXXT will be focused on the launch and growth of several key initiatives:
- Expanding its already growing bench of Diverse, Strategic, and AI-Inspired “independent” business strategy advisory experts uniting under a collective NΞXXT // Consulting practice.
- Publishing our first Podcast episode in late June (with production support from AV Nation).
- Launching our AI-powered digital community platform in June, a true home for structured & unstructured learning, tools, storytelling, and peer engagement.
- And in September the release of the first of a growing suite of digital “on demand” learning content – starting with AI 101 and AI for AV Essentials courses.
