Powersoft is set to debut its ultra-compact amplifier, Nota 142, at InfoComm 2025 in Orlando. This pocket-sized, PoE/PoE+ powered amplifier delivers 140W across two channels, making it ideal for commercial, conferencing, and retrofit AV installations where space and simplicity matter. It’s plenum-rated for safe use in ceilings and includes smart features like onboard DSP, speaker health monitoring, and USB-C connectivity for seamless setup and integration.

Nota 142 simplifies installations by using a single Ethernet cable for both power and data, reducing cabling and infrastructure costs. It also supports remote monitoring, integration with Powersoft’s ArmoníaPlus software, and third-party control systems. Nota 142 features onboard DSP with speaker health monitoring to ensure optimized audio performance. At the same time, full control through Powersoft’s ArmoníaPlus software and third-party APIs offers flexibility in system configuration and management. With USB-C connectivity, Nota 142 enables simple integration with external multimedia devices and doubles as a USB-to-AES67 converter, further expanding system interoperability. Nota 142’s automated setup matches speaker impedance and applies a high-pass filter, helping to protect equipment while maintaining clear, high-quality sound reproduction, which is an essential benefit for mission-critical AV applications.
