Shure has introduced WAVETOOL 4, the latest version of its professional audio monitoring and listening software, ahead of IBC 2026. Built for live sound, broadcast, theater and houses of worship, the platform helps audio teams listen to live channels, identify issues and troubleshoot problems in real time from a single monitoring environment.

The new version adds Global Instant Replay with up to 30 minutes of system history, support for up to 192 channels and eight users, a scalable interface, intelligent mic issue detection and improved team communication with chat, image sharing, reactions and voice notes. WAVETOOL 4 is available now with both subscription and perpetual licensing through ShureCloud, along with a 30-day free trial.

WAVETOOL 4 builds on the platform’s listening-first foundation with new capabilities that expand visibility across complex productions. New features include full-system Global Instant Replay with up to 30 minutes of history, expanded channel capacity, a customizable user interface, and enhanced collaboration tools that give teams the context to investigate unexpected events, coordinate responses, and maintain awareness throughout every production.
