Epson to Make IAAPA Expo Debut, Showcasing Projection and Point-of-Sale Solutions for Attractions and Entertainment Venues

Epson will make its debut at IAAPA Expo 2026, showcasing how projection and point-of-sale (POS) technologies can enhance experiences across attractions and entertainment venues. The company will demonstrate its high-brightness projection solutions, including an interactive installation developed with Float4, combining real-time content and motion-responsive visuals to create engaging, immersive environments for visitors.

Alongside projection technology, Epson will highlight its POS solutions designed to support ticketing, concessions, retail, food service and other guest-facing operations. Featuring receipt and label printers, kitchen printers and portable wireless solutions, the demonstrations will show how AV and operational technologies can work together to create memorable guest experiences while helping venues improve efficiency.

From immersive attractions to seamless guest interactions, technology is transforming the themed entertainment experience. For the first time, Epson announced it will exhibit at IAAPA Expo, the annual event for the global association for the attractions industry. Epson will showcase its powerful projection technology designed to create immersive experiences and transform spaces, along with point-of-sale (POS) solutions that streamline transactions and support guest-facing operation from Nov. 17-20 in Orlando, Florida, at booth W1149.

“Projection is being used in new and creative ways, from dark rides and simulation-based attractions to games and theater experiences, bringing large-scale visuals and interactive environments to life,” said Chris Teguh, product manager, Epson America. “The attractions industry is built around creativity, storytelling and memorable guest experiences, making IAAPA a natural opportunity for Epson to demonstrate how our technologies can help bring those experiences to life.”

At IAAPA, Epson will demonstrate how its projection and POS technologies can support the guest experience, from creating immersive environments to facilitating everyday transactions. The booth will include:

  • Interactive Immersive Experience – Developed in collaboration with Float4, this interactive demonstration will combine Epson’s high-brightness projection with motion-responsive digital content to create an immersive environment that reacts to guests in real time. The experience will showcase how projection, real-time content and interactivity can transform physical spaces into dynamic, engaging attractions. Powered by Epson’s EB-PQ2220B projector, the installation will demonstrate the impact of 20,000 lumens,¹ 4K Crystal Motion technology² and 3-chip 3LCD technology for delivering bright, detailed and vibrant imagery at scale.
  • Guest Experience – Epson’s POS solutions support operations and workflows across ticketing, concessions, retail and food service, receipt printing and other transaction-related information. Epson will showcase the power and versatility of its portfolio, from high-performance receipt and label printing to compact, mobile solutions with the OmniLink® TM-T88VII, TM-m50II, TM-L100 liner-free thermal label printer, TM-U220II kitchen printer and the Mobilink™ TM-P20II and TM-P80II portable wireless receipt printers. These solutions can help staff keep lines moving and serve guests efficiently during busy operating periods.
