At InfoComm 2026, Epson expanded its display portfolio beyond projection with the introduction of its first direct view LED (dvLED) solutions.
Speaking with AVNation’s Tim Albright, Chris Teguh discussed how customer demand for additional display options influenced Epson’s decision to enter the dvLED market.
The new LE-C1 series is an all-in-one dvLED solution designed for corporate and education environments. The lineup includes a 135-inch Full HD model, a 4K version, and a larger 162-inch display. According to Teguh, the new offerings allow Epson to support customers looking for large-format displays in spaces where projection may not be the ideal fit.
Availability for the LE-C1 series is expected in late summer. Pricing details were not specified during the interview.
Alongside its new dvLED products, Epson showcased a range of immersive projection experiences throughout its InfoComm booth, including ultra-short-throw applications, projection mapping, interactive digital art, and ceiling projections.
The company also introduced a new 30,000-lumen 4K 3LCD projector, which Teguh said is approximately half the size of a typical projector in its class, offering greater installation flexibility for large venues and immersive environments.
