LynTec DMX Dual Relay Takes Home Two InfoComm 2026 Industry Awards

LynTec’s DMX Dual Relay (DDR) earned two major industry honors at InfoComm 2026, receiving the SVC Best of Show Award and the Commercial Integrator BEST Award in the building enhancements category. The recognition highlights the DDR’s innovative approach to distributed power control, combining DMX functionality with a rugged design that helps AV professionals manage power more efficiently across a wide range of installations.

Built for professional audio, video, and lighting applications, the IP65-rated DDR offers flexible 20A power distribution in a compact, field-ready design. Its ability to be installed close to the equipment makes it ideal for permanent installations, live events, touring productions, and outdoor environments, giving integrators greater control, reliability, and installation flexibility.

LynTec, a leading manufacturer of electrical power control solutions for professional audio, video, and lighting systems, today announced that its DMX Dual Relay (DDR) was honored with two awards at InfoComm 2026 in Las Vegas. The DDR was named Best of Show by Sound & Video Contractor (SVC) magazine as well as receiving a 2026 Commercial Integrator BEST Award in the building enhancements category for power conditioning, surge suppression, and energy solutions.

Selected by a panel of working AV integrators evaluating products on the show floor, the SVC Best of Show program recognizes solutions that deliver standout performance, innovation, and value for the integration community. SVC judges cited the DDR’s combination of distributed power intelligence and practical field utility in their selection. “A power relay with DMX control, what a good combo. Great handy tool for various lighting and other power-controlled devices,” the judges wrote.

The Commercial Integrator BEST Awards is recognized as one of the industry’s most prestigious annual programs. An independent panel of industry expert judges selected all the award winners. “Our BEST Awards judges’ evaluation process for products centered on what would help integrators be more profitable and serve their clients well,” said Dan Ferrisi, group editor, commercial and security, Emerald.

“InfoComm 2026 has been an incredible show for LynTec and for the DDR,” said Chris Bishop, National Sales Director of LynTec. “These awards from SVC and Commercial Integrator reflect exactly what we set out to build: a compact, rugged relay that works wherever the job takes you and puts real intelligence in the hands of the integrator or technician right at the point of load. We are proud that the integration community has recognized the DDR’s value, and we look forward to putting it to work in projects around the world.”

The DDR is an IP65-rated, ruggedized power control module engineered for professional audio, video, and lighting environments. Featuring a single 20A input and two 20A PowerKon output connectors, the DDR allows users to either pass the full 20A through a single output for high-draw devices or split the load between two independent pieces of equipment. The IP65 rating ensures the unit is completely dust and water-tight, making it equally at home in permanent installations, outdoor events, and touring productions. The DDR can be mounted virtually anywhere equipment is located, including on trusses, behind line arrays, or inside road cases, bringing power control directly to the load without the limitations of centralized panels. The unit is UL Listed and carries CE and cMET certifications for both U.S. and EU markets.
