Biamp has announced the launch of the BMA 360D, a new ceiling tile microphone array designed for modern IT and AV environments. Built with Dante audio networking and advanced beamforming technology, the BMA 360D works seamlessly with Biamp Tesira DSP systems and other Dante-enabled platforms. Its low-profile ceiling tile design makes it ideal for conference rooms, open offices, and learning spaces where clean aesthetics and reliable audio capture are essential.
The BMA 360D offers flexible deployment, strong echo cancellation, AI-based noise reduction, and precise beam control to ensure clear, natural speech across different room layouts. The launch also reflects Biamp’s continued innovation following its acquisition of ClearOne intellectual property, strengthening its expertise in DSP and microphone technologies to deliver scalable, high-quality collaboration solutions for IT teams.
Biamp, a leading provider of professional audiovisual solutions, today announced the launch of the Biamp BMA 360D, a next-generation ceiling tile microphone array featuring Dante® audio connectivity and advanced beamforming technology. Designed to work with any Tesira™ DSP systems using Dante, the BMA 360D expands the Biamp portfolio with a flexible solution that serves the broader professional audio market while delivering the exceptional audio quality for which Biamp is known. The ceiling tile form factor represents a new deployment option for customers seeking discreet, architecturally integrated audio capture in spaces ranging from conference rooms to open office environments.
Pairing the Biamp BMA 360D with a Tesira DSP provides users with exceptional customization, echo cancelling performance, and AI noise reduction. The BMA 360D features onboard beamforming processing and it delivers audio to the Tesira DSP as one automixed beam or it can send individual beams on separate Dante channels. It ensures consistent gain response and natural speech reproduction across all beams, while adaptive steering with preset or custom beam patterns provide precise coverage across diverse room layouts. Built-in power amplifiers and versatile mounting options make deployment straightforward in modern collaboration, presentation, and learning environments.
“We’ve built our reputation on delivering exceptional audio experiences through tightly integrated systems—our Parlé microphones paired with Tesira DSPs represent the gold standard in that regard,” said Joe Andrulis, Executive Vice President of Corporate Development. “The Biamp BMA 360D gives customers seeking a ceiling tile microphone to deploy with our Tesira DSP in an open Dante environment a complete Biamp solution that delivers the quality and reliability they expect, with the flexibility they need. The advanced beamforming technology ensures outstanding performance whether paired with Tesira or other Dante-enabled platforms.”
This product launch follows the October 2025 Biamp acquisition of ClearOne intellectual property and brands, which brought decades of audio engineering innovation into the Biamp portfolio, including intellectual property and patents related to beamforming microphone arrays. As part of the integration of ClearOne technological assets, former ClearOne CEO Derek Graham joins Biamp as DSP Manager, along with other engineering team members, bringing deep expertise in digital signal processing to strengthen the company’s already robust audio engineering capabilities.
“The addition of ClearOne IP and engineering talent allows us to accelerate innovation in core areas where we’re deeply focused,” said Rashid Skaf, Biamp President, CEO, and Co-Chairman. “We’re channeling these resources into DSP advancements and microphone technologies that directly enhance the collaboration experiences our customers depend on.”
