Anything But Sitting On Our Hands

Given how 2020 went, you might know how this story goes. Our last large in-person industry event was ISE 2020 in early February. Since then due to the pandemic, each trade show has gone virtual or gone off the radar entirely. Even 2021 was not spared as one of the largest mainstream events CES went all-virtual. ISE this year is still planning to be physical in Barcelona- in June. And it was just announced that InfoComm would be moving from a June date to October. But the question for marketers and integrators in the space would be… Now what?

There’s a decent amount of build-up that marketers need to make when getting ready for shows like this, and those plans have been pushed back at the very least. What can we do in this time that we’ve been given? Joining us this episode is AVIXA’s Senior Director of Industry Marketing Barbara Blaskowsky to discuss what marketers should be focused on in the coming months.
