In any industry you get rumblings and rumors. Thankfully for the commercial side of the AV industry we are here to comb through those pieces of news and find what’s worth talking about. Joining us this week is Nationwide AV Vice President of Sales & Operations Brock McGinnis, Sales Support Engineer for Sony Electronics Professional Solutions Americas Chrissy Sara, Area Sales Manager for Snap One Katharine Wheeler and as proclaimed by Tim “Ninja Meg” herself Meg Sciarini-Smith.

At this point it’s become a fixture of this show to take a monthly look at AVIXA’s Pro AV Business Index, and for good reason. For June, sales growth have reached the second highest level in five years. In addition, surveys noted that the pandemic was not the most cited negative business factor for the first time in a long while. Will this growth continue, or is this a boon from the fact that things are starting to come back? If it’s the latter, what’s going to happen in the midst of this new Delta variant? Looking at what’s in store for the AV industry as we move into the trade show season.
