I Know What I Like
Tim (and actually, all of our guests) may have been busy last week at Enterprise Connect 2022, but the news doesn’t stop for any event. We are here to discuss the latest news coming out of the commercial side of the AV industry. Joining us this week is Communications Specialist for Shokz Paige Turner, Managing Editor for rAVE Pubs Steph Beckett and Advisist himself Bradford Benn.
As previously mentioned, Enterprise Connect 2022 was held March 21-24 in Orlando. Not only did all of our guests attend, but this was their first outing to the Enterprise Connect show. We discuss our experiences and the innovations being made when it comes to video collaboration and hybrid working for the AV industry.
Crestron is setting up to acquire 1 Beyond. 1 Beyond is a manufacturer of intelligent video and camera solutions, which will fill a gap previously not held by Crestron. It is the first significant acquisition since their new CEO Dan Fedlstein stepped on. Is a company that does “everything for everyone” a better option, or is it too much to juggle? We discuss what this merger means for both companies moving forward and the impact of acquisitions like this on our industry as a whole.
