We have been describing this particular space in AV of displays and the design around them as digital signage. It’s why the name of this podcast is as such. During a casual conversation before one of our shows, the discussion came up asking if the term digital signage was outdated for this space. Well, is it? With the way that this particular space has evolved especially in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, are we looking a turning point for whatever we’re going to call the digital signage space? Will we need to change our own name?
