Learning Screens
It’s a new year and a new semester period, but that doesn’t mean we have to change our coverage of the technical side of the higher education space. We have our usual detachment of AV experts, including AV Specialist for Stockton University James King, Assistant Director of Multimedia Services for Drexel University Rob Rasberry, Director of AV Services for the University of Arkansas Ernie Bailey and Director of Client Services for Bates College Scott Tiner.
This episode we discuss the ever growing role of Zoom in the classroom. Remote learning has gone from an emergency industry-wide pivot to the normal, and rooms that were once fit for in-person education have become made ready for streaming webinars and holding many a Zoom call in lieu of traditional classes. We discuss how these developments have changed the projects being completed and the approaches made to these new endeavors. We also consider the future of remote learning once we are finally past this pandemic. Is it here to stay?
