Who would’ve thought that after one of the biggest trade shows for the AV industry that almost everyone else would be recuperating? Regardless, the news continues. And to join Matt in talking about the biggest stories for residential is Dave Pedigo from Trinnov Audio.

Samsung is bringing their IoT control and automation to businesses. While SmartThings has been a… Thing for smart home control, they are now announcing SmartThings Pro, focused on the business side. While Samsung is a big name, there are already major players within corporate control. Do they have what it takes to stand out in this market?

Trinnov Audio has opened their first US office. This new facility is meant for training and education from companies like Kaleidescape, Barco and Officina Acoustica to name a few. Since Dave is from Trinnov, we ask him what led to this new space and what it means for the company to be branching out to the US market.

Lenbrook Media Group and HDTracks are creating a new streaming service. This audiophile-focused service will provide audio format choices and utilizes Lenbrook’s AIRIA by MQA Labs, a codec specifically for high-quality audio. We look at what this means for both companies moving forward.
